Why Invest in Willow House?
“He who plants a tree plants a hope,” declares Lucy Larcom in her poem “Plant a Tree.”
Indeed, that is the root of the vision of Willow House.
One child at a time, one family at a time, one gift at time, we plant hope.
When you stand back to look at all of the plantings, we have a veritable forest of hope!
Most charitable donors around the world give of their resources to fight illnesses, research cures, end plagues and repair natural disasters. If we give enough time, talent or treasure, we can end all of the unpleasant things in our world. At Willow House, we ask our patrons to invest in hope, empathy and encouragement. We are asking them to invest in a beginning, not an ending. What a wonderful opportunity for them, and for Willow House!
It’s a brilliant reward to be able to plant a seed, nurture it, watch it grow and, ultimately, enjoy the fruits of the tree. I hope you’ll consider planting a seed at Willow House, so you can help us nurture the hope of our families and watch hope bear the fruit of possibility!
If your employer offers gift matching, the value of your gift to Willow House can be increased significantly. Your Employer can provide you with the necessary forms and instructions.
